Palace favs, I can understand, not far off best team in EPL. Celtic favs at home, much more difficult to understand against Portugese opposition (albeit not in great form) After the fact I know, but Braga not flattered by their 1 goal lead, it seems.

thought Kiev would be a bit better than this

Palace lead 1-0 courtesy of Munoz.
At odds on though pre kick off, that had no appeal whatsoever for me anyway. We were 4/7 I think it was at home to Sunderland not long ago and that ended up 0-0. Looking very much like 19 games in a row without defeat. The market has Everton favourite against us on Sunday, I'm not sure that's justified in a game unders looks solid but priced accordingly. Without Grealish, Everton look bang average, Palace have far more quality all over the pitch, Everton's odds unbackable.

Palace are undoubtedly on an excellent run and full of confidence, on current form one might expect them to be marginal favourites against Everton on Sunday.
But the bookies will have factored in the "European effect" of Palace playing on the Thursday as well as the excellent record Everton have had in recent seasons in this fixture. since 2015 Palace only have ONE victory in twenty-one EPL games against the Toffees, seems scarcely believable i know. Unless i've missed something, Grealish will be playing on Sunday. However, KDH is suspended after picking up two ridiculous bookings from overly fussy refs in the last two games. Right Back is a real problem area for the home team which Palace will no doubt try to exploit. |
