Good shout Mes, but not for me at the price
Leicester were 5,000 to 1 at the start of the season and still probably about 250/1 at this stage after their start Can't see them finishing above Liverpool, man city or arsenal but could be a thread to run through the season Good luck |

If the refs give them enough pelanties then it's on.

Throwing money away imo. Perhaps right club, wrong competition?

Same price as Brighton to finish top 10 and half a point lower on the spreads for season totals. Yet Brighton are 700+ to win the PL. It's a seriously bad price tbf.

Palace are almost the same price to win The ECL as Villa are to win the EL. That's where they look a bet to me. The Europa League is miles stronger. Second faves Florence would be 20s and Third faves Strasbourg 40s to win the EL. Palace would likely be a similar price to Forest's 10/1. I'd have Palace in the region of 5/2-3/1 to win that

All those extra games will catch up with Palace's small squad in the League. I'd prolly fancy Brighton to finish ahead of them in a pickem bet

9/2 favs --worth a punt that

It's laughable to think we could do a Leicester, a top 6 place even would be unlikely but it's certainly a fun ride to be on at the moment and long may that incredible unbeaten run of 18 games continue. Saturday was the absolute nuts and we so did deserve that win against Liverpool. It was a massive S.P. group hug afterwards and high fiving all and sundry with the joyous mood continuing long after the final whistle.

It's a 2 horse race between Palace and Arsenal, we're 5/4, so I'm taking the 80's on Palace.
Salah and Isak will get a load of goals for Liverpool but they look disjointed, Palace and Arsenal look more like an orchestra in harmony, as finely tuned as they come. I actually think Isak and Ekitike steps on Salah's toes, he's just not used to not be the focal point, he's had Firmino teeing him for years followed by Nunez who didn't mind not being the star, not that he was good enough, he also wasn't the same goal hungry bar steward Isak is who has a one track mind, can see them arguing over who takes pens soon too. Slot should have bought someone to compliment Salah not overshadow him. Wirtz was great for Leverkusen playing and coming in from the left, Slot doesn't know where to play him. Konate looks terrible, you can see why they wanted Guehi, the penny wont drop with Arne that Kerkez is no good until it's too late and that their best left back has been there all along, Robertson. Frimpong is all legs, can't defend. Kind Regards. |

if its a 2 horse race between those two then arsenal at 5/4 is also value

"I'd have Palace in the region of 5/2-3/1 to win that" ... one game in 3.7 to back 3.95 to lay

Grealish will be deflated his efforts have seen him omitted from the England squad again, wont have his spring in his step this weekend, that's my scientific analysis. Palace a good back and one step closer to the title. Kind Regards.

I don't bet on us that often as I just like the occasion without stressing about various positions.
But...3.1 away to Everton tomorrow had to be taken. |
|
By:
It’s always tough to bet your own team I agree.
They’re giving you a great ride that’s for sure. |
|
By:
Grealish will be out of the limelight for a while. International break then he can’t play against City.
He’ll probably need a couple of weeks to get back into shape after that. |
|
By:
A half fit Grealish is till better than the majority of EPL players Honcho

I've only just seen this thread when looking for my other thread on pre-World Cup predictions
I think everyone understands, accepts and acknowledge that Crystal Palace were indeed going to win the Premier League, then the curve ball was thrown last October when Glasner inexplicably decided to make public that he wanted out, hoping for a pay off, Parish refused and he had to stay but things were never the same again, he tanked the league to concentrate on the Conference League for whatever that was worth to his CV, they then lost Guehi to City in January so all hope was extinguished anyway. The Premier League was won at Selhurst Park however albeit by Arsenal, so I got that right ![]() Kind Regards. |
