he's been backed @1.69 already

Thought the Chelsea win would give him 2 or 3 games credit

I watched the Forest game last night and a home win looked about as likely as the next female Pope.
The commentators' mispronunciation of Midtjylland as Mitty Land had me looking around for Walter and Ange looked the nearest candidate. The Greek owner didn't look best pleased and neither were the fans who booed them off the pitch at HT and FT.

After dragging Spurs down from a top 6 team to a relegation fight last season, Ange is moved to Notts Forest to replace a very successful manager who fell out with the owner. Hardly a recipe for success! I never felt that his players like him much in either club.

Forest seemed OK on Sunday, not really spursy at all.

A few random team selections but played OK.

What do you mean by "Spursy" in this context? Spurs are currently European champions.  Is that "Spursy"? Confused

Sofaking, "current European champions" = a bit of poetic licence, imo

They won the competition that were for teams who had finished roughly 5th to 7th in their domestic leagues the previous season.
I would suggest that the team who won the Champions league, was it PSG?, might be considered the current European champions, but I suppose technically you are not incorrect

Nothing cringe about it. There are two current European champions and Spurs are one of them. Obviously the Champions League is far more prestigious though. Arsenal would kill to get any sort of European honour in their dusty trophy cabinet.  Grin
