Honcho - Everton last won at Anfield in 1999 - 1 nil courtesy of an early Super Kevin Campbell goal.
Franny Jeffers and Sander Westerveld got sent off for having a scrap and to put the icing on the cake Stevie G got sent off as well late on for a disgraceful challenge on Super Kev. |

I d confined the covid season to the bin, due to the effect the lack of crowds seemed to have. There were bizarre results everywhere. When Everton won that game at Anfield it was the fourth home defeat in a row for the Reds. But with the lack of away fans it all felt hollow.
That season saw Everton win no less than 11 away games including beating Spurs and Arsenal on the road as well as Liverpool, it was surreal given the lack of success at those venues they have had in the Premier League era. And it can only have been put down to the Covid Effect. |
