Luke shaws usp,is bombing down the wing helping the attack,he can’t do that in a 3.
Amads usp is out and out winger,he can’t do that if he’s playing as a wing back. Dorgu is a bad winger, but plays in defence. Casameiro,is too slow and old. The players are average, but then expecting them to play different roles is just crazy. Who play the team and tactics based of the players you’ve got. May as well buy messi and ask him to play in goal, that’s the level of Ruben’s management. |

In 11 years at Man Utd, Luke Shaw's contract has been renewed several times without getting close to expiring.
It either shows the clubs immense faith in his talent or Shaw's immense faith that he won't get a better offer elsewhere. |
|
By:
when he's fit ..he's been good for Utd (wasn't great today)..
Southgate took him to the Euros knowing he'd only be available for 3 games at best..turned out to be less.. Contract was extended when he barely missed a game in ETH first season and was very good.. truth, lies, statistics and the BF forums... |

Some laugh you criticising what anyone posts on this forum when you post that drivel ^
Shaw by any measure has been a total disaster. A player who gets extensions whilst contributing nothing to the club. Media has blamed Pogba, Rashford, Maguire etc.... whilst this guy gets away with it. Jose rightly called him out as overweight and unfit (He is even worse now) and the UK racist media had a go at him for it whilst throwing any non UK player under the bus. All those muppets claiming Shaw had proven Jose wrong when he scored the goal in the Euro final only to bottle it. He has played 201 league games across a 14 year career. Thats just over 14 games a season. In the last 2+ seasons, he has played in 22 league games. In addition he is actually a terrible defender. Down the years I've lost count of the amount of f**kups he has caused which have led to goals. In fact I think Harry Maguire unfairly carries the can for alot of his mistakes playing on the same side. He brings little or nothing attacking wise His ratios are 1 goal every 87 games for Utd and 1 assist every 15 games. Cant't defend, can't attack. If it waddles like a pengiun, its Luke Shaw. |

totally owned by haaland yday, the 2nd goal he just got brushed off and ended up on his face, not to mention how easily doku skinned him for the first, he's not looking like an international full back unless myanmar are offering him a passport

he wasn't good yesterday (as I said)..he's also not playing as a full back currently under Amorim (LCB) and some of his games under ETH weren't..
In terms of drivel, RQ, (nice to get a mention in this regard from the undisputed king of it) I explained why he got a new contract when he did - he played 47 games in 20/21..he played 27 in the 21/22 and played 47 in 22/23 (in the two seasons before that he played 33 and 40 games) so his injury record at the point of renewal wasn't seen as a massive issue and rightly or wrongly rather than spend money on a position that by any standard already had a very serviceable option (hardly just my view) they extended his contract.. fairly obviously if he'd come of the last two seasons of only playing 15 and 12 games respectively he wouldn't have got an extension. |

Luke Shaw was exceptional pre his leg break, since then through all the injuries he has never been the same and that's it in a nutshell.
|

By:
Has RQ ever missed a UTD game?
|
|
By:
![]() doubt it...Fergie did the lad some serious damage is my guess..thinks more about Utd than his own club.. |
|
By:
I’ve never seen him/her talk about anything other than UTD. Must be why they’ve had such a poor spell over the last decade but are still one of the biggest clubs in the world. People will always talk about them.

It's like the Dallas Cowboys, the most valuable sports organizeation on the planet and despite being run appalingly by their owner Jerry Jones, he'll openly tell you that as long as they are current, topical and continue to be talked about, even if what's being said is derogatory then all is well.

No further comment from me/nothing to add on Maguire. He does absolutely nothing for the side bar provide an aerial threat at corners.
I do however agree with one of the MOTD pundits on Fernandes. His frustration at being asked to play a role which doesn’t suit is there for all to see, and that will permeate and do nothing for morale. I feel sorry for you fans because nothing seems to be getting done to change/stabilise things. |

Fcsk me
Arsenal had the same problem for 15 years… a centre forward, a centre midfield and a best of a centre back. Everybody could see it. |
