i use soccer stats.com and who scored - both pretty good

Whatever it is, it's not soccerway, they've taking the best stats site around for the last few yers, and for some reason, ruined it.

“Premier league clubs are trying to harness the power of the long throw in, with throws of at least 20 metres landing in the opposition box increasing from 0.9 per game in 2020/21 to 1.5 in 2024/25.  Meanwhile, long throws that led to goals increased from 0.03% to 0.38% in 2024/25”.
What a load of absolute bowlucks.  Not the long throws but the fruitcakes who actually produce such utterly meaningless statistics, as if they somehow matter.
