Mes, remember this forum should either be for betting info/suggestions and of course banter. Football fans love banter and sure sometimes it is OTT; but if isn't at least mildly amusing it isn't worth posting. Sure I get annoyed with Sofa disparaging Arsenal, even when they get a decent result, but the comments are mostly witty. A couple of mates who support Spurs were rampant on whatsapp over the summer, but as usual, now its September have gone quiet.

Can't believe my well thought out, highly detailed and long winded post last night has been deleted, a certain poster must have skipped over the part where I made him aware that tse global are monotoring the abuse of the report button, where posts and posters can be automatically removed if you hammer the report button enough times under various accounts, browsers and VPN's, i.e. I was banned at 9.35 at night, no moderators is working at that time, I did however save the post, so if anyone wants a full transcript let me know
In short, I was thanking the good and the great of the forum for their unwavering support for what was probably the greatest injustice ever carried out on these boards, 14 years and 9 months service on this forum providing entertainment and amusement whilst demonstrating on a weekly basis with my failed acca's, just why bookies love mugtiples.
I remember in November 2010 when I joined, peak time Saturday they're was always around 300-400 people viewing this platform which rose to well over 600 if United had lost a big game, they were relevant at the time, now there's less than 20 souls left and that's on good day, so to actually go out of your way to drive traffic down even further by desperately trying to get me banned over and over, is baffling to say the least, but hey ho, there you go.
But as the Dragon said a while ago, I shouldn't really indulge in this nonsense anyway as it's beneath me.

Incidentally, speaking of way back when, does anyone remember Elliot Short who claimed he made millions laying horses, he is the reason I'm here, I joined Betfair in late June 2009 (forum 18 months later or so) after reading that story in the News Of the World on the tube one Sunday morning, knowing nothing about gambling or trading at the time, of course the article turned out out to be complete unbridled bollox I can still see the image of his slick back hair and purple loathers, gloating, how tf did that story ever make it to print, also remember a while later the NOTW had to post an apology whilst saying it fell below their journalistic standards. He conned lots of real people out of their hard earned money.

This place is dead because there are many more usable social Media platforms for punters to use these days. Think twitter etc.

People bang on about the good old days when there were 400 people on a Barca United thread and bemoan the fact threads even for massive games now have less than 20 people viewing.
Those 380 missing people haven't been banned from this forum. They've left for twitter or other modern platforms. They've left for shiny new platforms they can easily use on their phones. Platforms where they can easily view and swap bang up to date opinion and swap memes without waiting 7 hours to get them approved.
They now do all their betting via betting apps. They watch matches with their phones by their side getting push notifications from betting companies.
This place is moribund because in an ever changing world it has stood still for 20 years.

I don’t use social media, Facebutt, Twitter, Insta, Tik Tok. I got plenty of good advice from the cricket forum in years gone by. I like to hear people’s opinions. I thought that as gamblers and presumably sports fans we would have far more in common than I see.

This is what the forum grass is doing, if you press the report button next to a post, you are given 9 options, one of the options is 'harassment/Cyberbullying', it's this option he keeps hammering away it with various accounts that automatically gets a post removed.

Who knows I might have a long list of bookmarked posts where you have been abusive
Nobody is abusing him, he goes around every tipping thread criticising and abusing the person making predictions, calling them fantasist, morons, attention seekers, buffoons etc, then plays the victim .
He wont be happy til the only posters left are him and his 5 other accounts.

That is really unfair and some would be offended to be called Crypto!
Nothing whatsoever wrong with a bit of fascism if it is the only alternative available to fight rank socialism. It is certainly far superior to hard line socialism and is possibly the only cure for this conspiracy of woke which has been allowed to dominate our every waking thought in recent times.
