Don't dare drop points against the Arse. The market believes that Arse are a (slightly) better team.

Whatever happens in this I think Liverpool will be longer and Arse shorter for the prem after it. Liverpool obv very much a work in progress and Arse obv very much further along the road.

Tempted to lay Liverpool
|

I'm tempted to back Liverpool @ 2.50. Neither team has hit form yet and although Arsenal hasn't lost to Liverpool for half a dozen games, they struggle to get over the line at Anfield. Probably the safest bet would be to lay Arsenal.

They will have to shape a bit better than at Newcastle Dragon. Will not be betting on the match, in the "too difficult tray".
Will be watching with the mrs though and hope the pool win. |

BTTS looks a sound bet at 1.64. Liverpool will score, and they will also probably concede. Arsenal look a more cohesive unit to me, Liverpool have blown hot and cold, imho. The skill and flair they have in attack make it hard to bet against them. And they have developed the habit of scoring late on, but they are not yet the unbeatable machine that the media are making them out to be. A score draw would not suprise me.

The Liverpool line-up is locked in.
Alisson; Szoboszlai, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike. Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Endo, Chiesa, Jones, Elliott, Robertson, Bradley, Ngumoha One change. Mac Allister back in. happy with that |

I've put my City winnings on Liverpool

Martinelli and Madueke... no Liverpool lay for me. No bet

Ref and VAR looking to stitch Liverpool up here.
All decisions going against Liverpool. Even had a VAR heck for possible penalty when there was absolutely nothing there. No booking for Zubimendi or Merino for blatant diving |
|
By:
shd have booked him for diving there

0-0 looking good. although maybe they go for it late on. Both teams know this could be a title decider
