I don't wanna talk
About things we've gone through
Though it's hurting me
Now it's history

I've played all my cards
And that's what you've done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

ABBA pipes up with another bore draw.

Did he stick to his usual overs bet or lump on Celtic at silly odds? I wish he’d post his bets pre match. We could all make a nice few quid going the opposite way!

He posted a £500 overs bet on a match the other week (post match). It was with Sportsbook so that tells you all you need to know!

Dipp laddie on ALDI counter reckons Vardy is being punted to the hoops by his agent.  A truly humongous signing fee being demanded by his agent.
No confirmation, purely on the laddie’s say.

I really think brendan has got a soft ride in all of this, abd is hiding behind the board,
he has the biggest budget by far in Scotland, yet couldn't put out a team to beat Kairat!!

Anyone that spent 9 million on Idah can't be trusted with the chequebook, (is Idah worth even 4 million now?) add in the fact that he is probably in his last season, then how can the board be expected to give him a free reign.

A new manager would probably not fancy some of the players, and more money then required abd the cycle goes on.

The fact remains Celtic are a very well run club.

Yes.  They should thank their lucky stars that Ferguson McCann came along and saved their club from oblivion.  But they don’t. Still alive I believe.

Dermot put money in and so did fans, Mccann invested once he knew there was investors and he walked away with 50 million. He never saved Celtic it was a business opportunity

Then he employed Jock Brown and the Tims took the huff.

Wee Fergus went into Celtic to make cash not give then cash and fair play he got it, and these Americans have same objective at Ibrox but I think they have missed the boat.
By:

Of course he did but in doing so he kept the Club alive.  No doubt about that.
I don’t know what your beef about that is.  Every player on the books signs on for the cash.
Are they khounts as well?

utter tosh. the board will get it in the neck but it should be brenda. talk of the board gambling about getting through with what was available and thats a gamble anyone with half a brain would take. should have been no contest to the point this match should have been irrelevant. should have been a comfortable win last week and it would have been if what was on the pitch hadnt played so badly
By:

When: 26 Aug 25 20:43
whats ironic is all the talk from brenda about not wanting to hang around if no progress is being made. if it was about progress and after that ****show he would be getting the boot. but he wont because the 'no progress' of winning the league every season will continue with him in charge

Why did Celtic have to qualify? They've been automatic for years and last year they did OK and Rangers made the quarters of Europa.

Which country overtook Scotland in the co efficient?

kassiesa.net/uefa/data/method5/crank2026.html

lots of them -

Scotland's main issue now is that as much as Rangers and Celtic do plod along and do their bit, the other Scottish teams don't really pick up that many positive results

with the advent of the Conference League quite a lot of the countries in and around the ability of the SPL do manage to get multiple teams picking up results and going deep into the Conference League, over the qualifying 5 year period it is completely eroding the advantage that Rangers' run to the final once gave Scotland

next year there'll only be one Scottish team in the CL and will have to start from the beginning of qualifying again

it won't improve unless there's a miracle run to a final again or SPL teams start to regularly rack up the wins in qualifying and through a group stage

You’re far too generous comparing Hibs to Shamrock Rovers.
