limited knowledge with this league, but noticed last season that top scorer only had 18 league goals, the previous 20 seasons in the Championship in regard to top scorer, had an average of 26.5 goals, previous 10 yeas was 28.4, has the Championship suddenly become harder or was last year just a poor season ? initially thought Stansfield was a good pick, but a lot of his goals are from the spot.
maybe Damion Downs who just signed for Southampton from Cologne where he scored 10 league goals in just 21 starts (29 games total) in the second division is worth a punt at 25/1. They have Armstrong and Archer but Downs is a Will Still signing.

Do you think the reduction in the top scorer total might have anything to do with clubs playing on up top and wingers being inverted? |
