just seen his interview, writings on the wall, will be gone before Xmas, that kinda of iron fist rule doesn't work in modern football, hanging all his players out to dry and exonerating himself of any blame, then there's his style of play, completely inflexible and will give a lot of teams in Scotland who'd ordinarily would have no right to score against them, get draws and wins.

Kind Regards.

Rangers boss a tough gig at the moment ,their fans are not renowned for their patience, but the team is nowhere near good enough to be challenging for the title ,they have to give a manager 2 or 3 years to get players /style he wants ,but few bad results and they may well press the panic button.

Probably just realised that he's gone from manager in premier league full of championship players to team that would struggle in league one but full of overpaid pre donnas to add to his problems Should have done his due diligence

Has a bit of David Brent about him which is obviously concerning..
also committed to over playing from the back even when it's clearly not working though not unique to him..

felt a surprising choice but his work with Southampton in the Championship was pretty good.

Every Old Firm appointee is ultimately dependant on Old Firm Derby results.  Can’t see any reason for him to do any better there than his immediate predecessors.  I liked his selection statement to his players on Tuesday night which read to me as “I don’t care who you are or what your reputation is.  Measure up or sit games out”.  So it seems he has a clear picture of where he wants to go.

I think he will need to beat Celtic on upcoming match to survive, Glasgow demands results, if he loses he is gone.

Very odd.  The only sense it made was cost.  Presumably he was very cheap.  Can’t think of anything else.
New board regime barely three months old.
There will surely be a Bring Back Barry campaign.
Ironic that not that very long ago they could have had McInnes themselves.

he wasn't cheap loyal believe me, he knocked back Leicester job, albeit different length of contract, the yanks will need to pay a lot of cash to leave.

It would be cheaper for Rangers to sack him today than cost a lot more in the future.

Should keep him, he's doing a fantastic job of grinding this horrible club into the dirt where they belong.

Sorry to disappoint but if was up to me I would punt the old firm out to some lower European dross league or down south…..

The bring nothing but hatred and unhappiness for the neutral up here….

Totally irrelevant which one wins the pub trophy at the end of the season tbh…..

He has another difficult match on horizon, Hibernian, there is no easy games in football, we all know that and should not be, but yer man russell has got to start winning games, possibly he might have been a wee bit unlucky at weekend. I never seen match, hit post and bar, but he got beat and that is most important thing

I watched all Scottish football highlights and thought Rangers were a tad unlucky tbh….Celtic are Celtic and they seem to be blessed with Lady Luck imv…..

The rest remind me of volleyball tbh..

Lower level is almost unwatchable imo…..

I watched Celtic game it would have been travesty if they hadn't taken 3 points they totally controlled match. Big baws from new lad to put penalty away.

they are usually mad complainers at Ibrox, hard luck stories, blame any cant but themselves but they are not doing that now, they just want to blame this manager, it's as if they are happy to lose if they get shot of the manager, but they will have pay him off, and americans don't like parting with cash

honcho it's a toxic environment for the lad, they want him gone big time, he probably wants out himself but he's not going to resign, however he is going to **** it out till they pay him his contract up, because he rejected a very good post to go there.
That 3 year contract will buy a lot of vegan burgers for him and his family, sit it out Russell get you're cash and sign an NDA, everything was great it just didn't work out.

Indeed it's a very tough life being a vegan and voting green party and also manging a very big football club, but I'm sure the lad will get through it, hope his mental health is grand currently.
My advice, ride it out Russell. Ignore the flak keep doing you're job.

He had to leave by a side door and into a car as 'fans' were surounding the team bus.
