He was THE original reality tv STAR. I think there were plenty of fly on the wall documentaries prior to The Osbourne’s but his magnetism captured people’s imagination.
What young people will not understand is that influencing and reality tv is staged and managed for effect. Sharon Osbourne is a clever woman and I don’t know what the tv remit was but this guy Ozzy was a complete loon, a moron, an idiot of the highest order. If he was not the Prince of Darkness he would have been sacked from more factory jobs than anybody in the history of the World. He was a clown who was kind and gentle and despite being an oaf and a buffoon people could only have pleasant feelings towards him. The Prince of Darkness indeed. The love within his family was also genuine. It made me laugh when Sharon was awarded Mother of the Year when at least two if not three of her children were drug addicts and in rehab. The kids were proper Nepo Baby losers. Both have since come through that and are doing well for themselves and both likeable. ( the other kid was not in camera ). Wonderful times. |

I often say sport is the best reality tv there is because it has everything. Reality tv is generally faked. I don’t think the Osbourne’s was.
