Don't recall September dragon. There always used to be bank holiday Monday games in August, which would be the 3rd game of season..August 22nd would be about the start date.

Yep season always started around the middle of August...if not a week before.

I remember the good old days when you could buy a newspaper for 50p or less. I wonder how much the RP will be this year, probably over a fiver by now. Not worth it Pullout or no.

every year there's a thread on this forum asking and anticipating when this racing post pull out is released, why? what's so special about it, what does it tell us that we don't already know, never going to be accurate with predictions either given the transfer window doesn't shut til September 1st

You’re right mes.  It was very welcome pre-internet.  Probably past its sell by date now.   In fact, almost certainly so.
