I'm going with a draw here, maybe 1-1 FT.  And small stakes on Dembele and Martinez to score.  Anyway, hopefully it's an entertaining game.  What are your predictions here?

I am not saying PSG are poor, but how wonderful it is to see a young team, well coached, playing great footy, without £150m players/galacticos, winning like this. They are hardly short of £ but it should show  that the route to winning with great footy is not necessarily achieved by spending squillions on alleged superstars. Great stuff.

Thanks T. I support Everton and I'm nearly 70 now. I was lucky enough to see them do really well in the 68/70 season and mid 80's. Now, few fans get the chance to experience what I did. Seeing them lift the League trophy after the West Brom game in April 70. Beating QPR in 1985 to win the League and the the Cup winners Cup in Rotterdam. Beating Bayern Munich in the great game at Goodison. I think Inter fans will squeeze this one out of their memory and recall May 6th. People will still talk about that game for years and years. All the best.

Makes all that noise about going to Madrid. One minute he is going, the next he is staying in Paris.
All the time PSG are about as much use in the UCL as Spurs.

Eventually he does sling his hook and lo & behold Madrid turn to dogsh1t and PSG into worldbeaters.
I would suggest that had you & I been responsible for such behaviour we might take a long hard look at ourselves in the mirror.

Well..

That massacre could only be compared to the European Cup Final of 1971.

The game really made a big impression on me at an impressionable age: I wanted the referee to stop it for being unfair, in that whenever Panathanaikos had the ball, there were five or six Ajax players crowding him. The score was 2-0 but it felt like 5-0.

Then, at the final whistle, Dutch fans overran the Wembley pitch. As an English adolescent, I wanted my team and my country to generate that passion.

I grew out of that and mourn two needless deaths last night. It is puerile and childish to be so attached to a football team.

I remember the 'trash your town after winning a championship' meme used to be a thing 20 years ago.
The Chicago Bulls winning the NBA used to be a trigger point for a mid summer riot.

When Wenger started winning titles with the Goons I can recall Finsbury Park turning into a free-for-all.
About 15 years later when the Ersenal won the cup the fans decided to celebrate by driving their SUVs around honking their horns. Sign of the gentrificated times. I suppose.

Parts of Paris really are dirt poor & most of the PSG ultras come from the banlieux or the projects, as the Americans might call them. Not the kind of punters to spend a few grand on a round trip to Munich.
Makes Sadiq Khan's London look like Trumpton.
