I saw him give one of the best ever Giruys to opposing fans one day. They'd given him pelters of "Who ate all the pies who ate all the pies, you fat barsteward, you fat barsteward, who ate all the pies"? He totally blanked them. Then, out of the moody blue, came a whipped cross from David Cooper which Ally dived to, to bullet a three foot high header into the back of the net. In the same roll movement he got up, pulled his shirt up over his head, wheeled round in front of his erstwhile baiters, and rubbed his bare belly gleefully, in a satisfied circular motion. It was pure class! Good old Ally. |
