The goal expectancy is about the lowest, if not the lowest, for any League match this season and the tipster is recommending an each way bet at 14/1 1/3 of the odds on the first goalscorer market.  There's a 40% chance of 1 goal or less for starters.  It should be obvious to a tipster that the place terms are dreadful.  Not only that, you can bet 7/1 that he scores anytime (which is fair) and 40% better than the place terms advised, so they should've advised first goalscorer and anytime scorer instead.  Not just the one, but two schoolboy errors!

I think they are right about it being a low scoring game. Wimbledon has the better defensive record so I have gone for Wimbledon 1-0 currently 7.6 to back. I wouldn't like to speculate on the goalscorer.

Over 2.5 is 2/1, biggest price I can remember seeing. This is expected to be a borefest then?

They don't play boring football especially not Walsall, but both teams are strong defensively.

AFC to win and Jake Reeves to score.

Like watching a match from the first round of the African Nations Cup, but with fewer chances

So far so good but I'm going to pass the parcel now, take a profit and put my stake on Fenerbahce.

Walsall have just bottled promotion since January, this was the icing on the cake

Good call Foinavon

Nearly followed your lead and fancied Wimbledon to nick it. Not sure what price 1-0 Wimbledon was. Had a good night last night including including a Lady @ 38-1 which, include Everton at 7.5!

Larger treble bet Citeh, West Am with Arsenal @ 1.25 and it took them 90 minutes to land it!

Decided not to give it back so have decided to have an Ayrton on Mumbai Indians at evens just to keep it interesting!!

1-0 was 7.6 as stated in my first post WD, went down to 2.8 -3.0 after the goal. Well done with your multiples. I'm waiting for proper cricket where I have much bigger stakes than on footy.

Thanks Des, safety first kicked in at HT, better to travel than to arrive.

I dabbled in IPL cricket this summer, the price swings were incredible, but after some early success, I committed the cardinal sin of thinking it was easy, and got stung in the end. Good fun though.

Fenerbahce lost unfortunately. A defender was red-carded during the first half when they were leading and it all went downhill afterwards.

Glad I stayed away and only lost £10 on Mumbai Indians!

The fixture had all the hallmarks of a potential betting coup I have to say.

One of the hazards of the game, the difference between the teams is huge but only the numbers at the end count. I baled out as soon as I could and saved some of my stake as the price didn't collapse completely.

WD - who did you back Everton with at 7.5 ? they were 10s with a few layers !
Did you see Alec Farrell passed away last week - started his career with the toffees but was injury prone, eventually ended up at the Gills, played over 200 times for them and became the first captain of them to win  a title in 1964 when they won Div 4 as was. I was too young to have seen him play but by most accounts he was one of the best players the Gills have had.

Bet365, might have been in play.

No Alec Farrell was before my time.
