As someone who remembers the magnificent 1972 European Cup final and still replays the CL finals of ‘09 and ‘11 for pleadure, I am backing Inter Milan with a heavy heart. But this Barcelona team is not quite the finished article we saw in Rome and Wembley and Limahl is not (yet) quite as influential on the pitch as Johan Cruyff.
Barca’s domestic toll is greater - winning the league is their principle target. Plus, I am worried about Inter’s height advantage, which cost Barca two soft goals in the first leg, so I make Inter favourites to win the match. And Barca were lucky to claw level in the first game and never got ahead. So Inter should start favourites tonight.

I agree with you WD. No idea what the result will be but I can't see it being 0-0
I don't think it will be 0-0 either, just thinking of pinching a few ticks before the first goal. Evidently I will be scuppered by an early goal, it's the chance you take.
Interesting to see Johnny Foreigner play the ball out of defence not just with such authority but attacking intent. Depressing at times watching Arsenal do the Ray Wilkins crab shuffle. Hopefully Partey will break the lines tomorrow otherwise I would love to see a Barca PSG crazy attach fest
Goal at 21 minutes last price matched 13. I agree Nobby, my capital wasn't at risk for very long. I've put money at risk for 5 days in a Test match for a similar return.

Inter playing a very smart game. Wouldn't be surprised if they scored again.
There was a game c 20 years ago at Old Trafford when a young Messi was left to basically play United’s defence by himself:- no team mates available for short passes.

Yamal is massively over rated. He is a good player but no more than that. He could well be crocked by 25 as well given he is so young and playing so often.
For all the drooling over Lemine Yamal... the end product is very often poor

I haven't seen anyone on here or any pundit comment on how utterly useless Ferran Torres was tonight. Generational awful performance, I missed small bits of the game but I don't remember even seeing him even once. Barca may as well have had 10 men.

Great match really enjoyed it, didn't have a bet or have any leanings emotionally to either side, but don't think Inter should have penalty awarded, but all the pundits and VAR thought otherwise.
I thought it was soft too. Garcia's volley was sweet though.
I see wenger doing his pundit has said a penalty should never have been awarded, I have no idea why that was given. I was astonished and had not bet or allegiance to either side.

Martinez was clever and got his foot between the defender and the ball, the defender caught his foot first and that's been a penalty for a long time whether you agree with it or not. Dumfries was also clever for the late equaliser. Both a bit like the Neuer v Saka penalty incident in the first leg last year. There's no substitute for experience at this level, on and off the field. If I was a Barca fan I'd be criticising the defenders in both incidents before the Inter player or ref, same as with Saka last year.

How come if a defender touches a forward's foot it's a penalty but he can have the same player in a half-Nelson and that's perfectly fine
Was as clear a pelanty as you could see once the replay was shown, and if they aren’t going to give penalties for kicking a players foot in the box the game is gone.
