Liverpool vs Spurs is a dead rubber, I'm sure the atmosphere at Anfield will be great for the home fans thou...
when the semi finals both used to played at 3pm saturday, they would clash with league matches.
I agree with Storm Alert. The Liverpool v Spurs game is a dead rubber. Postecoglue will only be interested in Spurs players staying injury free for the Bodo/Glimt Europa Cup semi final. Bearing that in mind I doubt if Tottenham will even put up a token resistance. The same goes for Man Utd at Bournemouth. I'm a realist and I don't have a problem with that. Others will though.
It wasn't known it would be a title decider (it isn't really) when dates/times were decided. These things happen weeks in advance.
Pool's fixtures in April were all rearranged for TV around the end of Feb. The Spurs game only became relevant when Arsenal didn't lose on Weds. The cup dates were confirmed early April.
