Good grief can you imagine how boring this game would be by two footballing terrorist's
not because its arsenal but these two teams are boring as hell in their setup. it be a game settled by a set piece and just devoid of any flair or excitement!

A team without a striker cant win this competition. Inter are a better version of anti football then arsenal because they've got a striker. Madrid game hung on those 2 FK from then on they was the perfect opponent - but you wont compute that

are you actually blind, we outplayed them in both legs, it was a non contest, Arsenal's xG tonight - at the Bernebau, was 2.05 to their 1.5, 6 shots or target to their 3, xG shots on target was 1.92 to their 1.32
in the first leg the xG was 1.61 to their 0.5, 11 shots on target to their 3 and our shots on target xG was 2.76 to their 0.24 complete domination in every aspect, chance on goal, quality of chances on goal, control of the game, winning both matches home and away, and you're desperatly trying to pin everything on a couple of free kicks Have some class about you, you really are one bitter Spud. Thought Arsenal were fantastic tonight. Not always been a Rice fan but boy was he great over the 2 legs. I have been waiting for him to come of age and he is showing what he can do now. It's been a slow burner but well played young man. Arteta excellent with his tactics and love the fact that they were not intimidated on the field. A truly excellent performance from this Leeds fan. Go on and win it now.

Looking forward the the PSG match. They play some wonderful football but I think Arsenal will gun them down.
They have issues at the back, which, I imagine Arsenal will target, sadly we don’t have a centre forward to exploit the central defensive weakness ( Pacho ) but we do have two very good wingers to exploit the space left by Hakimi and Mendes. By God I love the way they played it out from the back though. I was screaming at the tv what the bloody hell are you doing! They were so composed but Arsenal press well and with better discipline. Partey a big miss in the first leg. It could be a great game. I would say I have Arsenal as the best all round team left. Not as good as some but solid at the back. Inter may be a tough nut to crack but if Barcelona cannot then it will be their own fault. |

I read somewhere that UEFA are looking at giving advantage to teams who finished in the top 8 of the league with a second leg home draw in the knock out rounds Makes sense as the only advantage of finishing in the top 8 of the league was to miss one round of knock outs |

It wouldn’t have mattered whether Real Madrid played home or away as they are the worst Real Madrid team I can remember. A big part of that is because they have 3 out of 4 defence starters out injured with other important injuries and suspensions. Isn’t that what arsenal fans are crying about in the premier league

Arsenal fans weren't 'crying about' injuries, simply stating them as fact - that's why it's the weakest Prem title in decades, absolutely no pressure on Liverpool, they won it with virtually 11-12 games left, City virtually a different side without Rodri. A full strength Arsenal team are either on the same level as Liverpool or even better, we were definitely better at the Emirates this season where we should have won, and that was without Saliba and Odegaard.
This Madrid side is not the worst because of injuries, they've got all their best players available, the reason why Madrid are not the same team is because of Mbappe, he doesn't want to play up top, he wants to play where Vinicius is, where he's used too, he can't use his pace to as much affect as he could do before, and it's also meant he's occupying the areas and spaces Bellingham was getting into last season, now he runs into the last third and has to seek out Mbappe. He's been a misfit signings. Kind Regards. |

Didnt 3 EPL teams finish in the top 8 in the league phase? The EPL is a strong league. Arsenal fans are so disrespectful of other teams. Your not saying Aston Villa arent a good team and have improved from previous seasons. Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford have all improved and is why they are not fighting relegation like in the past. This is why the 3 promoted teams from the championship will be favourites to go down as the EPL teams have grown stronger Even Chelsea and Newcastle are better than last season Man Utd are as shy5e as ever though You blew it at the start of the season when you had Saka and Martinelli fit losing at Newcastle and Bournemouth and drawing all over the place before the clocks went back. You lost one PL game after that with your superstars missing. Yes the team who have won the league 6 out of the last 7 times have dropped off just as Liverpool did a couple of seasons ago when we finished 5th. That year man u were 3rd and newcastle 4th - great league?? Having 3 of your starting defence missing does weaken your team thats a fact. Liverpool beat Real Madrid in the group stage 2-0 quite comfortably. Ive seen some great Real Madrid teams and that wasnt one of them. They are going through a transition and I imagine there will be lots of transfer movement this summer Just give Liverpool some credit for being consistent and using their experience and toughening it out when needed as all EPL winners have done |

They dropped off the world's biggest cliff. It doesn't matter how you dress it up, Liverpool literally had no competition around them, no pressure, that's not their fault, they did their job, but it was literally handed to them on a plate, we dropped many points without Odegaard, Saliba and at times Saka, Ben White as well was first choice at the time he was out for ages too. Arsenal were without Gabriel and Califiori, we had defensive issues too. It's nothing personal against Liverpool, it's simply saying it how it is. Kind Regards. |

City in particular but Arsenal too have gone backwards this season. That's the simple reality. Liverpool are on target for a high-80's finish which means they probably wouldn't win the league going back to Leicester's success. That's the reality. Arsenal are doing well in the cup and have a really good chance of winning it, but their league campaign can only be described as disappointing surely and the job of the management is to not repeat the mistakes of last summer and get the right players in where they're needed. The team doesn't look far away from being great. But that's the story of Arsenal in the last 25 years or so. Making that final step is difficult.

What ki-boshed the Gooners title bid was flogging off NKetiah and the Croydon de Bruyne to Palace and Fulham. They werent starters but they were more than adequate replacements. Within a couple of months you could how much they were missed when their starting forward line started picking up injuries.
Maybe the reason for this bad piece of business was Profit & Sustainability compliance. After all I doubt there have been any set of fans who have whined and whinged about other clubs spending money than the dear old Ersenal. And btw lets not forget one thing. Barca are still in the UCL. And of course the Europa final is going to be in Bilbao who really ought to be too good for Man Utd. They are your favourites right there. This century Spanish clubs have won 50% of the Champions Leagues & Europa Cups on offer. No Spanish club has been defeated in a European final since Valencia in 2001. Unless by another Spanish team. So lets not suck eachother's c0cks just yet, as Harvey Keitel said in Pulp Fiction. |

IMO the big boys aren't having it all their way because the mid-table teams have upped their games. The physicality and power these teams have is almost unreal.
It also makes betting on favourites a minefield. |

One of the worst seasons I can remember in terms of overall quality was the 2017/18 season Man City won the league with 100 points and were head and shoulders above the rest Man Utd were 2nd 19 points behind with Jose saying it was one of his best achievements based on the strength of the squad he had to work with Spurs were third 23 points behind Liverpool were 4th 25 points behind having VVD and Allison for only half a season |
