Arsenal are 3-0 up and fine with Real passing the ball around in non dangerous areas.

mesmerised, i take it "who" was for me - football started longer ago than 1992 , Dave Peach played from the end of the 60s until mid 80s, mainly for the Gills and Southampton (fa cup winner 1976). Scored 72 goals and he was a left back who was a superb penalty taker. He also apparently became the first player to play on every league ground.

Never knew anyone had played at 92 grounds. Maybe some of the 80s Wimbledon players did it too.

WD- i think the 24 scored out of 26 stat was just for Southampton, he scored plenty for Gills as well of course.

I used to stand on the right of the Rainham end just to see Damiens skill on the wing, loved that guy !

Als0 i saw Steve Bruce just after he joined Gills in a reserve game on a Tuesday afternoon, he scored a blinding volley from 18 yards. There were only 50 of us in the crowd there to witness it, only went because Damien was making his comeback from a long injury absence.

Mesmerised - give me pre "advanced" football any time, much more enjoyable and the game full of characters. Modern day football often leaves me cold.

I just happened to be watching the betting here just as the 3rd goal was scored. Initially, it indicated a collapse in the price of Real, but very soon after it was Arsenal. Imagine one was quick-fingered and tapped Real one could have lost a bundle trying to nick a few quid eg from 1.1 (Real) to 1.1 (Arsenal).
