Yep, dreadful news.

Sparrow was an excellent contributor to our forum.

RIP Sparrow

i posted this on the greyhound forum where he was also respected....he had a great night when his beloved west ham won the UEFA Europa Conference League.....their first trophy in 43 years....especially the style of the winning goal from bowen who is a player from the moore, peters and hurst school....i remember sending him my congratulations that night and he was besides himself with happiness.....thats the memory i will take from this post......condolences to his family and friends.....

Deffo one of the good guys. RIP

OMG, how sad. Grumpy old git, but he still had a sense of humour and always knew when I was ribbing him. Gave as good as he got in return.

He will be missed. RIP Sparrow, you will not be forgotten.

Sad news. I had a few disagreements with him over the years but he seemed like a decent chap.. Rest in peace, Sparrow.
