Great stuff DD Looks like the going is good/good to soft- so looks like it will be great jump going- forecast looks fine.
The first race the Sumpreme novices is a great race and challenging from a betting perspective. I think the Mullins hot pot fav looks a bit too short for my liking as there are some good horses in the race which looks very competitive.. I have layed the fav and backed 6,and 11. there has been money for the bromhead horse workahead which is interesting. no doubt the fav will hose in. ![]() |
By:
fav continues to drift... gone back in on the lay
By:
The arkle has been blown up by the injury to the ante post fav..
who i backed incidentalty ![]() fav looks good but very short so im taking a chance on the skelton horse who looks decent at 5/1. deffo one to put in your ew accas disappointing turn out for a top top race |
By:
there are 4 very short priced favs on first day
might be worth putting them all in a 4 time acca just in case they come in.. but backing all the good uns against them |
By:
in the ultima (3rd race) i really like Broadway Boy at 10/1
its a grade 2 winner and shd be too good for this lot. got top weight coz its the best horse but i think it can win this its won on the ground and is being backed into fav get on lads |

champion hurdle cant see past constituion hill but love betterdaysahead

Eveing Dragon the fav was mighty impressive, never got off the bridle in that Grade 1 in Ireland, but short. Workahead beat William Munny easily enough last time out, but there are a few to oppose the fav with. Not sure what to do tbh, I do fancy Kopek.
Was on Gaelic last year as it hosed up in the Arkle, now missing, and Majborough another one from last year looks heard to beat and acca material only. Ultima, don't like the fav, gonna back Crebilly and maybe BB as you suggested as well. Champion Hurdle, probably just a watch for me, with CH in some sort of acca. |

Famous Bridge 240
20/1 6 places 365 |

Good luck all. I will just have a stab at the three handicaps tomorrow. The favs are too short in the hot races for me and a four horse acca at 13/2 doesn’t appeal at all.

6/4 is available, now that is great value |

Shorty Acca:
Majborough Ballyburn Jonbon Galopin ![]() |
By:
Yeah, had some of the 6/4 on Constitution Hill, happy backing it at that price.
![]() |
By:
yeah im having some of that DD
By:
Yep, takes the stress out of it backing at 6/4.
![]() I've backed Workahead E/W at 10-1. |
By:
sure does cant see why it cd get beat- heres hoping
By:
It’s called the Denise curse these days . I like crebilly ew in 2.40, been laid out for this race all season. And Murcia in 4.40 gl lads with yours

Getting the goosebumps now...
![]() |
By:
I can’t get excited about it like I used to. Not the spectacle it once was. Having said that it is still the best week in the NH racing calendar.
By:
Backed Kopek @ 9/4 to win by 3L+, my thinking on this is if it is a monster that it could win pretty easy.

By:
Kopek, bad jump at last cost me.
Something wrong with Workahead. |
By:
fav wins supreme relativly easily. bookies running for cover
By:
Munny ran well, jockey did well to get it covered and that settled him after pulling hard early on. Lots of nonsense spoken about Kopek's temperament it seems, Mullins knows what he's doing.
By:
i did it with the other short priced favs in an acca. i bet a lot of punters have done likewise.
By:
Leau De Sud E/W for me.
![]() |
By:
ive LDS to win and the fav in the acca
By:
I've got the fav in an acca.
By:
What else have you got in the acca with Kopek and Maj, Dragon?
By:
already shaping up(i hope im wrong) for anther boring mullins fest.the more days/racers that are added to the festival the more diluted and uncompetitive the non handicaps become. if ever something has been ruined by the greed of more and more its this meeting. the days of 5/1 the field in the novice/championship races are well and truly over.
By:
DD -got Constituition Hill and lossiemouth
By:
Only one non-Irish horse in the opener...the 320/1 outsider.
By:
Had Kopek at evens so that was decent
By:
Right Dragon.
By:
might just have a small lay of this favourite in the arkle purely as it doesnt get too high at the fences.
By:
WOW.
Great call sick. |
