The best manager they've had in the last few years is Solskjaer, things only started to go wrong for him when they foisted Ronaldo on to him changing the way they played.

I totally agree with you on that. OGS was under rated as Utd manager and the media had a sneering contempt for him cos he wasn't a big name (management wise). Also seen as a bit too nice.

IMHO from the min he took over to when Ronaldo was signed he did really well. European final, 2nd in the league, got the likes of Martial, Rashford playing well together. Even the first game of the season Ronnie was signed was a cracking performance against Leeds at home.

He worked well with what he had and wasnt moaning about transfers. The destroyed his good work with the Ronnie transfer.
