Out of the spotlight I expect Potter to quietly turn West Ham into a top 13 side

Potter underrated in my opinion

He's another that is probably suited to being at a club with less media spotlight on it

West Ham said in a statement: "The first half of the 2024/25 season has not aligned with the club's ambitions, and the club has therefore taken action in line with its objectives."

The club have also parted company with Lopetegui's backroom staff, including his assistant Pablo Sanz, head of performance Oscar Caro, head analyst Juan Vicente Peinado, fitness coach Borja De Alba and technical coach Edu Rubio.

"The board would like to thank Julen and his staff for their hard work during their time with the Hammers and wish them every success for the future," the club's statement added.

"The process of appointing a replacement is under way.

"However, the other major problem Steidten remains.

Any coaching skills Lopetegui had were very much like his grasp of the English language and clearly lost in translation. How he convinced anyone (Sullivan) he was the right man for another job in the Premier league beggars belief.

That list of Spurs' managers include David Pleat and Ryan Mason, both of which were temporary, several times in fact, but the point is still valid.

So did Denis Thatcher allegedly but was always the quickest way to travel in London nevertheless.

I may have wrote.. They're just not that patient over there though.. Meaning West Ham fans, ie, Your good self Fattie. I'd be willing to wager, it wont take 18 months before you're on here bemoaning about Mr Potter and his policies and his tactics.. imo.

Poor old David Moyes, he won you a European trophy! but that isnt good enough for West Ham... Leeds and Everton might have preferred that... imo.

Have a good day sir and your ****g club too. Happy

We're 12th and losing to teams in the bottom 3... of course we want him out, but a good second-half league run and a cup win might silence us.
