Out of the spotlight I expect Potter to quietly turn West Ham into a top 13 side

Potter underrated in my opinion
He's another that is probably suited to being at a club with less media spotlight on it |

West Ham said in a statement: "The first half of the 2024/25 season has not aligned with the club's ambitions, and the club has therefore taken action in line with its objectives."
The club have also parted company with Lopetegui's backroom staff, including his assistant Pablo Sanz, head of performance Oscar Caro, head analyst Juan Vicente Peinado, fitness coach Borja De Alba and technical coach Edu Rubio. "The board would like to thank Julen and his staff for their hard work during their time with the Hammers and wish them every success for the future," the club's statement added. "The process of appointing a replacement is under way. "However, the other major problem Steidten remains. |

When my dad first took me to Upton Park around 1954 Ted Fenton was the manager and there was only two before him.

By:
the local journo loon Henry winter who,s Bessie's Southgate and Howe never won a trophy bewtween them as mangers ,saying lopetegui wasn't a very good manager and basically scoffing at him winning the eufa cup in 2020,managing Spain, real Madrid, how many english managers have won a trophy in last 10 yrs ?
By:
What's your point? He was ****g ****.
By:
Any coaching skills Lopetegui had were very much like his grasp of the English language and clearly lost in translation. How he convinced anyone (Sullivan) he was the right man for another job in the Premier league beggars belief.
By:
Cos he was cheap
How they hell did he interview well in first place Beggars belief |
By:
Confirmed that Potter has come out of retirement to manage West Ham. I hope his garden doesn't go to ruin.

By:
That list of Spurs' managers include David Pleat and Ryan Mason, both of which were temporary, several times in fact, but the point is still valid.

Christian Gross Tottenham that's a throwback, the man that travelled on the underground. So did Denis Thatcher allegedly but was always the quickest way to travel in London nevertheless. |

Kevin keen twice
Sir Trevor Brooking twice Funny spurs fan made the flipping comment about being patient When in fact look at own ****g club |
By:
I may have wrote.. They're just not that patient over there though.. Meaning West Ham fans, ie, Your good self Fattie. I'd be willing to wager, it wont take 18 months before you're on here bemoaning about Mr Potter and his policies and his tactics.. imo.
Poor old David Moyes, he won you a European trophy! but that isnt good enough for West Ham... Leeds and Everton might have preferred that... imo. Have a good day sir and your ****g club too. ![]() |
By:
You being snidy simple as that
When in fact look at your club Way spurs fans conduct them self’s this year you had league won in September By December want poor oz fella out |
By:
We're 12th and losing to teams in the bottom 3... of course we want him out, but a good second-half league run and a cup win might silence us.
By:
Perhaps the Yids should appoint Moyes.
By:
Not sure about being snidey!?
But penzance! I suspect you could get yourself thrown in prison these days for posts like that.. ![]() ![]() |

My choice would be Thomas Frank if Ange goes

By:
4 cell walls,more entertaining.

By:
No to Frank from me.. tbh. has a whiney voice and rat like features imo..
I'd stick with Ange for at least the next 18 months.. come rain or shine. all about opinions. innit. |

Indeed it is Emit
By:
Dyche has been sacked, I bet the Everton fans would love Moyes back and imo he'd have them above West Ham before the end of the season...
