Dyche is not a football manager.

Would you rather he play like Southampton or Leicester

Top manager...plays to what he has and doesn't do fads...
his acheivements with Burnley on a shoe string out weigh what most 'top' managers will ever do... |

Dyche should have done a Spurs and got a r@ping?

Would you rather he play like Southampton or Leicester Festa fans already moaning about sacking Steve Cooper "at least we only lost one nil when Cooper was the manager" ![]() |

People forget that football is supposed to be entertaining.
If Everton can't play football in the Premier League then should sink to a level where they can play football and entertain fans. Dyche is a fraud of a football manager. He's only in place to keep the Premier League money flowing for the shareholders and f**k the paying public. |

It is a question for Everton fans as to whether they would rather watch their team in a lower league playing "entertaining football". I very much doubt the majority of fans would want that at all. |

If they prefer week after week of the appalling dross Dyche serves up to some entertainment then they are pitiless masochists. |

By:
yes agreed everton fans would not like entertaining football - they enjoy being miserable and moaning a lot

you're sentiment about football being entertainment, is true, but unfortunately football is now a business, and big business. |

Agree and, probably like most clubs, Everton's business model demands Premier League TV money. So desperate dross it is. Anything to survive and f**k the fans. |

Dyche is trying to keep the club in the Premier League and playing to their strengths in achieving that. That is his job at the moment and with the club about to enter a new stadium will be looking to the future of the upcoming seasons. The Everton fans will mostly all appreciate the present situation and will not have wanted to get relegated trying to do something that was probably beyond them.

Agree sparrow survival is always the priority, but also trying to find a couple of golden reasonable buys, surviving gives you a platform to try and play a different way eventually, springing a few exceptional lads from academy can help big time, I've seen it happening before.

He won't be in charge of recruitment or financial packages for acquisitions, he will have a say, he's not in charge of academy.
His job is to win as many points as possible with squad he has like any manager. Is he installing a negative attitude in players in dressing room, who knows ? we are not there, he certainly didn't the day they knocked me out LMS comp, they should have shut up shop at 2 nil. |

I'm just surprised anyone wants to screen their games.

although city are not doing well currently, he will be delighted with point today and so will players and his bosses i'm sure

Evertons defence is solid as Chelsea, Arsenal and City recently found out. Give them Salah, Gakpo and Diaz and they'd be top 6. Or would they??

I have just taken 4.1 about them being relegated. I think it's a great price.

One for the pub quiz. Dyche has managed three teams and has never been sacked by the owners who appointed him.

David Moyes would get them out of a hole.. Not sure he's glamourous enough for the new stadium though..

Across Sean Dyche's final 10 games in charge of Everton, the only player to score more than once for them was Craig Dawson, who scored two own goals playing for Wolves in December.
