Currently on 38 goals after 39 caps

Ronaldo has the current record of 135 goals after 217 caps

When Ronaldo was Haaland's age, 24 years, 4 months, he only had 22 international goals after 75 caps, 16 less goals than Haaland currently has.

At the rate he's going, assuming Ronaldo will retire at the World Cup in 2026 on something like 145-150 goals, Haaland will end up 150+ easily by the time he's retired, though would help if Norway actually start qualifying for tournaments, so far all his goals have come in Nations League, friendlies and qualifiers. Without tournaments he'd need to be this consistent til he was 35, with regular tournament football, looks a shoe-in.

Kind Regards.

You have it wrong Mes

The most goals scored in international football matches by an individual is 190, achieved by Christine Sinclair (Canada) in 329 games between 12 March 2000 and 31 October 2023. This is also the outright international record.

oh well, 2030 World Cup is in his home country of Portugal, something for a 45 year old Ronaldo to aim for, can't be beaten by a women FFS.

If they have an international break every three games and he stays humble then he can do it.

Couldn’t breach Scotland’s world class central defensive partnership of Hendry and McKenna in Nov. ‘23.  Managed a pen. the previous June.

Ronaldo currently on 143 International goals, not far of the 145-150 goals I predicted he'd end up on at this World Cup.

Haaland scored his 56th and 57th International goal tonight against Iraq in his 51st game for Norway.

Ronaldo was on 25 goals at the same age, 25 years, 11 months

Still on course for the record.

Kind Regards.

dont care how many these players score, inho the best goalscorer ever in world cups and big mayches was Gerd MULLER, his record of winning goals in qfinals onwards was i think scored in every match

What level league would they play in in England? 4th or 5th? Maybe 6th?

International goals should be weighted.

At the moment a goal against Spain has the same value as a goal against Luxembourg or Gibraltar.

And let's not forget the sheer number of international played nowadays.

How about;

Goals scored x FIFA Ranking of team scored against
.          Number of Internationals played

Ronaldo will never retire , he will demand a place on the pitch when he is 90 so if Portugal get a penalty he will take it from a standing start with a walking stick .
