Since Nuno Espírito Santo's first game in charge of Nottingham Forest, Chris Wood has converted 33% of his shots in the Premier League, the best ratio of any player to attempt 50+ shots in that time.

Wood has been fantastic since signing , surprised as I just thought he was a lumbering type

The 3 teams that went down, Sheff U esp, leaked a ferocious amount of goals and scored a few more than bottom 3 sides too. How does it compare to the prev season?

Brentford's shot conversion in the Premier League this season is 17.9%, the best by a team in a season that Opta has on record since 2003-04.

Most big chances missed without yet converting one in the Premier League this season:

◎ 5 - Eberechi Eze
◎ 5 - Kevin Schade
◎ 4 - Joshua Zirkzee
◎ 4 - Nikola Milenković

They scored way more goals 100 years ago and last season was a record in the PL and the most goals per game for 60 years. Barely any teams play defensive anymore, not even the bottom sides. We don't need more goals.

Goals have increased due to 100+ minute football matches.
