No wonder Poch wanted out.
This clown will be gone by Christmas. I'd even have a small punt on Chelsea going down. If that dressing room gets toxic enough, they will all chuck it in imho. There are no leaders in there.

Wouldn't blame him, he's a victim of the circus just like most of the players are, must be a great gig to have though, appointed, sacked after a few months with a whopping payout and no negativity attached to your ability by the rest of the football world.

Not necessarily true. Graham Potter is still visibly traumatised eighteen months after his disastrous spell at Chelsea and may never manage at a high level again.
The contradictory statements re Sterling are more a reflection of the club than the manager. Highly doubt the manager is coming out and saying things like that without approval.
I have suspected for a long time that Boehly has gotten himself into a right mess with FFP because he doesn't have a clue about it or football and has only discovered the implications relatively recently.
Sterling was a bizarre signing which helped strengthen City and he's on 350k a week with 3 years left. He is not marketable at all, so telling him to find a new club like this is running a real risk of him downing tools. I doubt Maresca is coming out with that off his own bat. Smacks of Boehly's cluelessness more.

I know Chelsea won 2-0 tonight but the performance was arguably the worst by an English team in Europe for several years.
Judging on tonights performance, its an absolute cert Maresca won't last the season. He is a yes man totally out of his depth.
