Think last year City might have been holding something back as they had the CL final to come

Maguire out but Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial available

I recall City had issues with Mancini when they lost to Wigan but I believe they were 1/7 to win outright that day.

Varane (played 25 mins at Brighton) and Martinez (played nearly 60 mins @ Brighton) will probably start but neither close to full match fitness..
Casemiro probably start in MF and main area of uncertainty as to whether he brings Hojlund back in to start or continues with a false 9.. hopefully Amad retains his place but possible Rashford comes back in.. whatever way they go overmatched massively and need a fair slice of luck as well as a big performance to have any chance.. |
|
By:
I don't believe United have the defensive tools to nullify Haaland, Foden, Bernardo of Doku
and can't see Garnacho or Amad troubling Walker, Gvardiol or Akanji too much. Of course it's always possible for United to get a goal but I can see City winning this comfortably. |
|
By:
United play like they did against Palace, they'll get hammered.
|
|
By:
United were embarrassed by Palace because they just couldn't deal with Palace's movement. Let's hope Pep and none of his analysts saw that match

Defend, hit em late.
Hojlund seems to have benefited from new role and would be perfick for last 20 + injury time when citeh tire, if man utd can stay within one. Of course if they sneak one before then... Citeh must be drained from celebrations following release having won super hard fought title race. Of course man utd need to be up for it, but signs ladt two games they are playing for each other.. Who knows, citeh are a great team. |

Utd to beat City 1-0 is 36.0
Utd to beat City 2-0 is 75.0 |

By:
10 hag getting tin tack either way.
Good to get it out there so players don't down tools at wemberly to get rid of him. Marginal gains, innit |

When was last giant killing at fa cup final?

2-1,win from behind would be my man utd best chance.
The players must be less tired having coasted through some games. They ain't bad players. Problem is citeh are really good, but have had hard season Looking forward to game,... Newcastle fans need city win to get European football next season. |

For a club the stature of Man U being priced 10.0 to win an FA cup match is basically an embarrassment, but it is about right.
|
|
By:
I think 20.0 is more realistic.
|
|
By:
United stand a chance today, they still have good players that can compete, it's not Watford a few years ago that stood no chance, for me it all depends of what Fernandes turns up, he is the key for them, I think it'll be a tight win for City, 2-1 or something like that, United could even force it to extra time and then who knows.
|
|
By:
Be careful when pricing teams up at 20.0

City "From behind" is 13/2, Man Utd is 28/1.
It's a quirky bet that I do every now and then with a big odds on shot as City are. Maybe United can get in first and your sorted but then again, they probably won't. Who knows? ![]() |
|
By:
From the line up, for Utd it's either Bruno as a deeper striker or him and McTominay ahead of Mainoo and Amrabat in a 4222.
As long as there's no chasing around while City obviously dominate possession and we stay as compact as possible I can understand the line up. Also, Rashford is the only attacker with the outright pace to threaten on the break, please play him on the right (away from Kyle Walker) and hope he turns up. Oh, and try not to concede in the 1st minute. |

Citeh not fielding their strongest team
Give manu hope in the first half Casemiro dropped to the bench 10 hag going for extra time and PENS ![]() |
|
By:
Citeh team looks pretty strong.
Man yoo not playing a striker. Rashers and Garnacho on the break. |
|
By:
reminscent of Pep in the final of CL against Chelsea with no striker, looks like he's shutting up shop, Hojlund must be gutted, will probably come on after 70 minutes when they're 1-0 down
|
|
By:
He will be delighted if it's 1-0 on 70.
Citeh tire, but have doku, Grealish and alvarez in reserve to maintain pressure in stretched game. |
