Referee blew up bang on 90 minutes. No injury time despite there being 4 second half goals & 7 substitutions. I get that the tie was over but should the referee really not add/play whatever injury time was due??

I make Gazza right. A game should be played by the rules in place, regardless of the scoreline.
It was to save us more embarrassment!

Certainly not fair to spread bettors (if there are any nowadays?) who had bet goals/corners/bookings etc.
Plenty will be backing another goal to be scored late on in-play. You’re almost guaranteed six minutes these days. The inconsistencies of the FA!
Can't really blame the FA here. So many games across the globe do the same thing in the same circumstances. FIFA need to stop it and play by their own rules!
I needed another goal for the record, got involved in the 2nd half. Lesson learned perhaps! Good luck tonight all
I’ve seen this happen in Spanish cup & even league games but don’t recall seeing it here. Hope it doesn’t become the norm. You could argue the fans have been cheated (despite seeing 8 goals) because the correct amount of time hasn’t been played….
Imagine if you went to see a band do a 25 song set & after 20 songs, the lead singer says, you’ve had a good time, we’re done now. We’re not playing the last 5 songs! You’d feel a bit pi$$ed Off wouldn’t you?!

Completely agree. Anything else is illogical.
Ref probably wanted to catch the train home to Manchester where he's from.
do it in champions league games as want to get their adverts in.
Just read Luton manager Rob Edwards has said the officials spoke to both benches late on and asked if they were happy to finish on the 90 minutes.
