Incidentally Raya's stats for this season and last are excellent, a lot better than Ramsdale's. Big loss for Brentford

He was hot garbage again yesterday.
The first save was comical and completely un natural (the jump from a standing position lol) only confirming he is a show pony only interested in making himself look good. He has an horrendous habit of trying to make the saves look as spectacular as possible only to palm it into danger |

played well in general yesterday...agree about the strange save but made up for that by getting a hand in the mele afterwards..
made some other decent saves (ones a top keeper should make granted) got a 7.8 on Sofascore and his goal prevented number was positive @ 0.95 ...these stats are not always perfect indicators in my view but it certainly puts to bed the idea he was garbage...if you're patient RQ.. I'm sure you'll get a more legitimate chance to crucify him soon enough.... |

Imagine the leap of panic you would see from someone who has a phobia of spiders when they look down and see a big fat hairy one sat on their lap.
That's the same reaction you see from Onana when ball is upon him...it's very strange, it's like at the very last minute he's jabbed with an invisible cattle prod and where is this ball playing whizz we were promised. The keepers that are adept at using their feet by definition are expressive and very sure of themselves I would expect them to be blessed with an abundance of self confidence that you would not see in your average keeper, however, Onana looks very low on confidence. |
