failing to qualify for World cup after World Cup and struggling to beat Macedonia's of this world, even the Euro victory was with a lot of luck, outplayed by Spain and even Austria at times and scrapped by England in the final on pens, haven't had any star players for years, gone are the days of Zola, Pirlo and Co

That Euro final loss by England looking worse and worse as time goes by, given how crap Italy are nowadays. England one up and Southgate went all negative and stifled England's main strength, the attacking prowess and then fecked up penalties.

italy never had a centre forward for 30 yrs, probably due to kids all wanting to be no 10,or centre backs
last yr they still had ballotelli in squad been in for last 20 yrs,reminds me of BEZS of happy mondays the scruffy kid that turns up in his scruffy kit to wave team bus off ,so they felt sorry for him and let him on coach ,then when they were short one day give him a game and he,s still turning up  |

For all of Italys decline they still managed to totally dominate England in the 2nd half of that Euros final after England were 1-0 up and had dominated the 1st half whilst Southgate sat on his hands just a replica of the previous World cup semi final England dominating Croatia in the 1st half winning 1-0 then 2nd half a complete turn around as Croatia dominated us in the 2nd half whilst Southgate sat on his hands,God help us if we ever go 1-0 down and are chasing the game oh wait a minute didn't that happen against France,Southgate is a serial loser when it comes to the big games

Lead 1-0 and then sit on it World cup 2002 and Euro 2004 under Sven Euro 96 vs Germany (Gascoigne needed another inch...) The worst one was the final vs Italy though, home advantage and he just stands there waiting for the equalizer |
