Worth watching. He had a double life, a second wife as a proxy Muslim convert in Iran, debts, and unfounded speculation that his death wasn't an accident.

I was tired and fell asleep at one point.. Did he commit suicide? Where did this happen? Is it worth me watching again?

it was different from the usual footballer tale ...sister saying it was not his body and he is still alive.

Samuel's body was burned so badly that he could only be identified by dental records and a blood sample that matched the DNA on his hairbrush. Before the inquest, his sister had accused his widow of faking his death, adding that the samples were not released for her to check against her own DNA. The coroner said that the samples remain the property of Samuel's widow.[39][40]

2.5 times over the limit in the morning raises questions for me. I think the body was cremated. There is plenty to doubt it was him but no firm evidence just a series of allegations that point to some sort of something not right.
The only thing I would say is if he was out of money how could he set up a new life? Ok maybe desperate to escape his situation but no life of luxiary ahead of him. Sad tale of footballer and footballers wives but it is more a human story than a football story and I found it interesting and worth a watch. |
