Good Morning ,can anyone please recommend an easy football stats site that is free, i used to use footystats but that is no longer available I don't know why. I liked that site because I could divide matches home and away and in a league format look at shots on target for and against in an easy to analyse way.

I use WhoScored.com for almost all of my football analysis. It's very thorough and comprehensive.
Looks interesting punts.
Lots of stats readily available for the big guns.
But how do I find stats/goals/shots/possession/%s etc for the lower teams?
Talking about the big leagues but those lower down the table.

I also use footballxg.com for Xg statistics. It has most of the main leagues from all around the world.

Do you think xg stats help you. If they just tell us Arsenal and Man City are the best two clubs in the Premier. we already know that.
Do they unearth any stats that surprise.
I have never looked at xg for picking my bets.
There's lots of randomness in football, looking at xg as well
as actual stats can help you remove some of that
randomness from the stats.
It can't remove randomness from future games!!!
But should help make better decisions.
