FIFA will be crying into their pillow, no stars, no Messi, no Mbappe, sponsors up in arms, what a boring final it'd be with the way they both play, don't even think I'd watch.

I think its the final that football deserves..
Lets face it, these last few years have seen football crawling ever further its own backside...
Over celebration of very mediocre talents.
Just look at that shower tonight, utterly devoid of any quality.
Yet no one in the British media is going to criticise the players are they?
Instead the whole British media has been turning on Cristiano Ronaldo, one of two players who has done his all to achieve greatness these past ten years or so..
And raised the salaries of their fellow pros exponentially.
we have a great player like steven gerrard at the Villa trying to elicit some response by calling out Tyrone Mings for his general slack attitude. The whole squad downs tools on him to get him the sack...
Pundits go on about Kane, Saka, Foden. They are not great players. They are little boys in comparison to even the golden generation.
The point is football media is building up very average players, like the Brazil squad, into something they arent. They arent all that good.
Their quality is not much better than Croatia or Morocco. And those two teams have a winners mentality and fighting attitude.
So I for one say, bring on a Morocco v Croatia final.

I like Ronaldo and Messi but as for this WC, I would be delighted to see Messi and Ronaldo turfed out. The standard of discuss around football in the age of social media k*obheads shouting "Messi or Ronaldo" is toilet.
The money in the game is insane and unsustainable. Teams have little if no links to their local communities any more and matches are attended by tourists with the proper fans priced out. Your average player wouldnt give a fan the time of day unless it involved some PR stunt or exposure.
