Portugal underpriced here, so I've gone with safety and layed Portugal with a -1 deficit at 3.75.
Swiss are a tough side, as Brazil found out in a close one.

Portugal without Ronaldo will be at least more likeable from a football sense, hes a to33er and the sooner Portugal bin him off the better
Hes always been a little spiteful bast@rd, Figo kept him under his hat until he retired
You can see the other lads in that squad hate his fooking guts
Portugal to win but would be funny if Swiss went through and the 4th confirmed quarterfinal is Morroco vs Swizerland

Lets be honest Fernando Santos would be bouncing around Europe at the likes of Olympiakos if not for Ronaldo.
All great players and winners have his bad loser temperament.
It really just confirms he's probably lost the dressing room (Santos). You dont make these types of changes in a knockout game unless theres serious issues.
He was picking Cancelo at right back ffs

Its Ronaldo's hand on the hips rolling his eyes when one of his team-mates fecks up that people don't like He openly shows his frustration. Was he even on the pitch when Portugal won their big trophy?

Without Ronaldo taking set pieces Swizz ought to have a better chance - surely. Portugal (like England) have always tended to under-deliver. A 0-0 draw or a goal either way will decided the game, I think.

Xhaka will boss this game like he bossed the last 3, even against Brazil he was the best player on the pitch pulling the strings, player of the tournament so far, should have backed him for the Golden Ball once he dispatches of the Portugeezers, Kind Regards.

Could be any score this. The Swiss gameplan always seems to be win a low scoring one. A bit like some other managers we know, there doesn't seem to be a plan B.

Just imagine the dead rubbers when its 48 teams in 4 years
Awful game. Some awful teams who have no proper ball skills. Just mechanical footballers who are either quick or strong

Have said it before. They have had the luck this tourney. Wouldn't want to write Morocco off but would think Portugal be too good. Their fun ends there however imo.

You are looking at club performances. Look at their performances in the national shirt at this WC and the opposition they've faced. That striker tonight did more than Kane all tournament against better opposition.
Leao would get a game for England. Bruno and Felix are better than Saka and Foden so far. Cancelo has been awful.

pointless taking the 4 matches in isolation as both teams have played pretty average to s*** teams in which you can't take much from, but Kane is joint 3rd for goal contributions, Foden scored and had a couple of assists and hasn't even played two matches when adding up minutes, both have played fairly well still, Kane's problem however is he keeps dropping deep looking for touches of the ball which takes away from his goal output. Ramos was fresh as a daisy put up against played a useless Swiss team, Kane looks a bit leggy.
England have their first real test on Saturday night, Portugal have got a good dogmatic team on paper who's results are greater than the sum of it's parts, they could not have handpicked 2 knockout matches than what they've been given. Portugal can't be judged really until the semi final when they'll actually be given a proper team to face, not a knackered old Uruguayan team and 3 bang average sides.
Leao always plays on the left hand side of attack for Milan and Portugal (when he starts games), he's not getting in over Foden, wouldn't have him on the other side over Saka either, can't even get in Portugal's team.
Kind Regards.

Foden is a very good but still overhyped player but his performances in an England shirt, when selected, haven't been brilliant. That is down to the manager not knowing how to use him primarily and not even selecting him most of the time. That's really what I'm talking about. On paper England are not as as good because their midifeld and defence are particularly weak against top sides but on the pitch they are far less than the sum of their parts.
Your defence has barely been tested. You have Harry Maguire starting at CH. Harry Maguire!! Don't be talking about having a great squad when you've been dominated by Croatia and Italy and haven't beaten a team you were underdog against at a major under this manager. If you beat France convincingly then harp away. They are world champs and vastly more experienced, better than Italy and Croatia were on their day. I don't see England getting past them unless they throw in a Switzerland-like performance but I think they will be more up for England than any other team.

You have a very good squad but it is unbalanced, lacking a midfielder who can dictate against the top sides and a defence with individuals who are all error prone. The squad is top heavy with attacking talent but you can't play them all and the manager doesn't know how to use them. So how good they are for their clubs or on paper is largely irrelevant is the point I'm making. They are all limited in an England shirt by the limitations of the manager.
