looks like he will retire in a few mths.......only kept going to play in the world cup. hes totally finished. graeme souness said he heard he will only go on the pitch when 100%.........maybe that was the problem at madrid. that he wouldnt train properly or make himself available because he had a niggle. something defo was going on. he should retire now. his world cup was a total disaster.

Very talented player & scored some fantastic goals, but won't work or train as hard as others. Would probably have had less injuries if he trained his body properly. Should have looked to his old teammate Ronaldo for the right attitude.

I wonder what his average/total km covered is over his career. Most attacking mf cover about 9km a match x 30-5 (matches a year) = 350ish km a year. I'd be surprised if he averages 200 a year tbh he's not even a reg in the slow as an oil rig major league!

100m euros transfer fee back in 2013. really should be top player in the world but has fizzled out

cant believe bale has not retired from international football. hes not fit enough to play in MLS.........think hes buying some time before announcing retirement from the game completely in a few mths time.
