USA have no real quality whatsoever, what they did have was a very simple game plan, defend with 10 men behind the ball and counter attack down the channels, England were set up to keep possession, show patience, don't show quality, don't take a man on, that's too dangerous against their runners, next to no pressing, no urgency, no belief they could break down a limited opposition.

You just need someone to get hold of the talent that England clearly has and get them to dominate games with attacking intent, Southgate is a Simeone disciple who's brain goes into survival mode when he thinks there's danger and reverts to safety first.
