to be fair they play other aspects of the game quite well ,can certainly defend and organise themselves ,just cant score goals.Think places they get is fair ,i think the concacaf get too many ,a group of 6 and top 3 qualify ,and 4th gets play off spot or something ,hence we get Mexico and USA in every WC and even Costa Rica regularly qualify .

I predicted pre-tournament on a thread here that no African side would make it past the group stage.

Its utterly depressing. African teams should be technically gifted and expressive.

Instead they are like cogs in a wheel and overcoached from the days where they would always appoint some European coach

Portugal v Ghana. I think Portugal is way too low on1.38 and I will be looking to lay Portugal.

Senegal's coach looks like a bad ass on the touchline with his dreads and track suit, with Mane they'd easily of got out of the group. Plenty of African players have won the World Cup but represented other countries, not a talent issue, it's that their best players come up though European systems after their families moved to Europe. Drogba however could have played for France but chose Ivory Coast.

I'm disappointed by the obvious lack of diversity in the African teams.
