I like the ex Man City defender.

Least favourite is Alan Shearer. Cynical Geordie c**t imo.

Micah's decent if he's on the panel with someone who has a clue.  he can then just repeat what they said when it's his shot and hope nobody notices ...

Tim Vickery of Talksport and Ale Moreno of ESPN are the two I like to listen to most. When Vickery was on BBC at the 2014 World Cup, he was so informative and knowledgeable about his subject matter (South American football expert) whilst being enthusiastic without being over bearing, he made Rio and Shearer seem really amateurish with his fluent delivery.

Mark Ogden, what a boring dull bar steward he is, looks like he's never had a day of fun in his life, you can imagine him asking his wife to stay silent during sex so he can concentrate. Nedum Onuoha another tedious dullard. Can't stand anything about Danny Mills, his voice, his opinion, his boat race, nothing.

I liked Slaven Bilic a lot when he was during pundity, this one of my favourite moments https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl35773W7Aw

Did not appreciate that Lee Dixon is still stinking the place out, I thought he had been retired.

I hate his cynicism and bias, please don't give him an England game.

Ally McCoist, Chris Sutton and Roy Keane all good pundits.
John Hartson the biggest bore on tv.

We had an OF game up here when StevieG was manager.
Was about  9 or 10 real talking points over the
referees handling of the game but the first thing
he commented on after the match that Rangers won
was he was disappointed with StevieGs handshake
with Neil Lennon after the game. Said it wasn't sincere.
I still laugh when I recall that.

Here it is in all its glory Laugh

Rio Ferdinand is without doubt the worst pundit of them all - at the Euros last year there was a group with Germany, Portugal and France - before the tournament he was saying how crazy it was that one of them would be going out in the group stage. What our 'expert analyst' had forgotten to take into account was that 16 teams went through from 6 groups, and predictably, all 3 went through to the 2nd stage. An absolute buffoon.

J King!

Dull as dishwater. Master of the Bleedin' Obvious. Adds absolutely nothing any pub punter could not offer. The medium is TV. We can see what is happening. He offers no insight!

Would add Graeme Souness to my list of decent pundits.
Nice wee spat between him and Roy Keane over the penalty.

McCoist and Souness and Keane are good commentators so long as they are disinterested. McCoist on the Rangers v Eintracht final in May was awful: obviously biased. I don't need a pundit to "curate" the evidence on the pitch.

Souness c**k on in criticising the England manager for not hooking off Kane imo. Same happened with the Ecuador centre forward. Both players are probably bigger personalities than their respective managers and no doubt both will start next match, but they will not be fully effective. Poorly managed.

Don't like Roy Keane and never had. He always looks as if he is having to control his instincts to attack someone even when sitting down. At least ITV don't sound as rehearsed as the BBC ones do though.

Joe Cole hasn't been too bad on BT.

How Keown gets the gig, God only knows. I know a lot of footballers are thick, but this bloke thinks the country is called Argentinia.
