Nice one, I saw Rory live in early 80s, and he
was brilliant, a very under rated musician.

I've heard much about him but never really
listened to much of his stuff.

Sort of missed him by accident.

Guess that's a reason he ain't on my list.

Bill Nelson was very good. I remember he had a song where he made his guitar sound like a seagull or something! Or did i just imagine it? Laugh

Big audio dynamite another band on my
to listen to list, likely I just connect them
as they have 3 word names...mick Jones from the clash.
Report The Dragon November 4, 2022 9:50 PM GMT
no you didnt des it was called sister seagull. brilliant song you can listen to it on u tube . from memorty it was off the sunburst finish album.

if you want to listen to one of the best ever opening guitar riffs then listen to maid in heaven its amazing..

john peel recognised his talent and played him and te band many times on his radio station  .they also played a few times on the old grey whistle test and were amazing.

prob the most underatted muscian/ gutarist ever. he went to the usa in his prime but never made it and never really recovered from that

still knocking around but bit of a recluse now

Keith Levene, a founding member of The Clash and later guitarist for Public Image Ltd, has died aged 65, his close friend has said.

Author Adam Hammond said Levene, who died on Friday, was one of the most influential guitarists of all time.

Levene founded The Clash with Mick Jones in the 1970s but left before they became successful.

He then joined Public Image Ltd (PiL), the post-punk band set up by John Lydon after he left the Sex Pistols.

Sad news.
