What's the point of a 55 man squad

Passport details, security, etc

Only those listed will be eligible.

Up to 55 can be named

I once was working in an office where royalty was due to turn up.

Didn't know if I'd be in that day but 6 weeks or so
before I had to supply names of any worker in the
office and their car reg for car park access.

So just stuck em all down as being in.


Of course one bloke turned up in wife's car
and had to go park elsewhere.




Some of the squads have dual nationals who may
have played for other teams and it gets them to
sort paperwork. e.g Hudson odoi has transferred to Ghana.

There must be players in this I've never heard of.

Holland gave a 39 man list.

fair enough, but don't publish it then or tell the players. if it's all about red tape etc.
