Pierce Brosnan. Fwiw dragon, Roger Moore was my fav! Happy
Report mesmerised August 13, 2022 9:17 PM BST
Brosnan was a good bond, Goldeneye probably the best Bond film.

Moore was OK but the lighthearted version of a Bond didn't really work.

The Aussie was the one that really didn't fit hence only 1 film

Tim Dalton was not bad and the Living Daylights again one of the better films, though he looked like a Banker rather than a spy.

Connery probably the most convincing looking spy, apparently was a real miserable bar steward in real life, saw an interview once where he said sometimes women deserve a slap to put them in their place as they go on an on Laugh

Lost interest the last few years and haven't seen all of the Daniel Craig ones, thought he was too ugly to play the role.

Probably easier to answer the best, so many were poor.

Wasn't basildon Bond's secretary called Miss Funnyfanny?

Indeed. your holiness mr lovegod.
Bella Emberg as Blunderwoman was another corker. Certainly appealed to my juvenile sense of humour

To be fair, Bond films are broadly reflective of the times. Connery was brutal (for the time) and probably true to Fleming’s novels, Moore pure panto, Dalton ‘serious’, Brosnan fun and lightweight, Craig a bit woke and tortured, If they’re on on a Sunday afternoon and I have nothing better to do, they do draw you in. My favourite Bond films are those where everyone is well past their sell by date. A View to a Kill is unintentionally hilarious. As for Never Say Never Again…..

In Moonraker, did Jaws's girlfriend Dolly have braces on her teeth? Confused

Hmm, ok. I guess nobody here has seen this movie.

James Bond as Ian Fleming wrote him belongs to a different time.

After the advent of Jason Bourne Bond films have become bulletfests. They are action/superhero films and are just for the simple of mind.
