Scotland play Ukraine next week in a World Cup play off match. Virtually the whole of Europe, if not the world will be without doubt supporting the country that has suffered so much brutality, torment and heartache at the hands of an immoral, corrupt and duplicitous leader and will be hoping for a decent win that would bring a much needed lift to a desperate population. .......
On the other hand, I'm sure there will be a few who'd prefer a Ukraine win. ;-) |

Souness is a tw@t
As if any Scot is rooting for their opponents ffs The media are a bunch of idiots Come on Scotland save us the fooking media circus in November |

As strange as it may seem, outside of the western democracies there is a lot of support for putin, in what he is doing, the mass hysteria which was absent during the invasion of Iraq is confined mainly to western Europe.
Anyway on to the football, surely Scotland can do the business and qualify. The biggest certainty of all time is if Scotland do qualify they will find the hardest most dramatic way to do it ![]() |

I'm of the mind that Ukraine should be given an honorary place at the World Cup, but I suppose drawing The Sweaties is as close as it gets.

Is this going to be fixed so Ukraine win ? Bit like they did with Eurovision
|
|
By:
Most of the Ukraine players haven't played for months and will be no where near match fit. Should be an easy home win, if not then the home side must be really rubbish?

Brought the sides in to limit the freedom of their wingers.
Was a wonder stroke. The Kiiev goalie gifting us the opener halped as well. Although we were also denied a blatant penalty when a Kiev defender punched the ball over the bar. 3-0 @ 19/1 gets my few quid tonight. Expecting an easy game. |

Only a handful of players have been in regular competitive action; Oleksandr Zinchenko of Manchester City, Vitaly Mykolenko from Everton, Eduard Sobol who is fresh from winning the Belgian league title at Club Brugge, Benfica striker Roman Yaremchuk and Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta.
It would be rather embarrassing for Scotland if they don't win. |

Scotland should win home advantage and Ukraine are a poor side anyway
That quarter final performance v England last year was the worst seen in a major knockout game |
|
By:
aka remember goalie selling first one was it coisty or falco who scored ? i had a great seat in main stand, works week out or i'd never have been there.
great scalp to get alright back in those days. anyway back on topic are we lumping on scotland lads ? I'm getting convinced |
