I have had countless problems over the past 3 months on First goalscorer markets with players I have laid and the bets matched subsequently being incorrectly voided by Betfair. When I chase this up invariably the helpdesk tell me I'm wrong. Often this goes back and fore to the traders before I finally get the bets settled. The latest example was the Heart v Celtic game on Wednsday, when the market was settled, 3 players I had laid were voided by Betfair, despite the bets having been matched prior to kick off.  I chased this up early on Thursday and am still waiting for market to be resettled. When I chased this an hour ago I was told they are aware of problem with this market. I suggested to them that am email to explain delay may have been a good idea. Doesn't sound like they ever considered such a novel idea.

No such thing as good Customer Service now. Not just with betting companies but everywhere. If you are lucky you may get through to an AI assistant. Or perhaps get asked to refer your problem to the company community hub where a fellow customer may be able to advise you.

And if you do actually get to talk to customer services, particularly betting companies, the service agents are very polite and know how to humour the public but unfortunately they know sweet f all about even the simple basics of betting. Five minutes speaking to a betting customer service agent and you quickly lose the will to live.

Everybody in life nowadays are as thick as mince and have all become so lazy with their reliance on mobile phones and f Google. Devil

p.s. .... only way the could have been voided is if they didn`t start or came on the pitch after First Goal had been scored.

... but I know that you know that.

Yes I do know that. The players in question started the games in question and the bets were placed and matched prior to kick off. I had an example last week, again of a lay bet that was matched prior to kick off on a player who started the game and after referral from the customer service advisor to a trader I was advised my bet was voided because of a VAR intervention. I had to point out that VAR wasn't really relevent prior to kick off.

That is a sham.

It does make you wonder - given the number of settling errors and mistakes Betfair make nowadays (that is the kind interpretation rather than the more sinister one) - it makes you wonder, how many people the clueless chat-bot operatives manage to fob off with their crib sheet of excuses.

Laid first goalscorer market on last nights Celtic v Rangers game. Yet again 3 players I laid and had been matched were voided by Betfair. Yet more time wasted chasing up helpdesk and waiting for traders to resettle. The settlement of these markets has become nothing short of a disgrace.

South American game one night. Good team one nil down to a bad team. Start of second half I backed the good team to come back. A few minutes later they equalise. I greened up. Logged on later no profit and a loss.

Got someone on a chat pop up, he said void because game shouldn't have gone in play second half. I said if my winning lay bet was void, why wasn't my back bet void too. They said **** off.

Press a wrong button and it takes ages to correct their mistake.

Sure you'll get there in the end, but so annoying

There must be other people telling them too, as it wasnt
a low key game.
