Man Utd looked good against Chelsea, Carrick had the courage to drop Ronaldo and sort out the defence. Arsenal have a good record against Utd in recent seasons but I can't see them getting anything tonight. United playing at home in front for Carrick will have something to prove and Arsenal have a habit of folding when the pressure is turned up and Arteta then doesn't know what to do.

Man Utd at evens a good bet and a double with Spurs to win as well.

Not sure about this one. A draw wouldn't surprise me. Two poor teams, scared to lose. 0-0 or 1-1.

It's a tricky tie for sure Des, I've had a lay of Man Utd just hoping the Arse score first.

radio comms are surprised by it, but if the keeper wasn't fouled then it's tough luck, isn't it?

commentators were debating it for near 5 minutes before ref signalled goal

Who said it wasn't ?

No one really, but the ref did not signal goal, so the score was still 0-0 for 3 or 4 minutes after the ball hit the net.

Should have signalled the goal immediately and then got the trainer on for DeGea. The fact that he didn't created a big doubt about whether it would stand.

Seems the ref was about to blow to stop the game but did not do in time before the shot.

ref was too slow with the whistle, wanted to rule it out, but belatedly realised he couldn't

The commentators on Amazon thought it should stand but thought it was not going to be given.

nad to a goal given - otherwise - every corner/ every cross a keeper could just fall to the claiming to be injured and the game would stop.

You could see the ref was looking to give a drop ball by the way he picked it up and held onto it until VAR gave the goal
