international football is the true test of any player
Maguire and Kane have passed with flying colours |

Yes, Grealish been a major disappointment so far and the lack of a striker will end up costing City big time.

when pep went for 'arry he had to land him,pay the fff money land him get him...but to be publicly known to be after him and not sign him, tragic
|

Yeah amazing they have to keep it quiet, so do the agents and the directors of football but the irony is the heads of the club , the real decision makers, do the deal so that it costs them a lot less in taxes no doubt !

Kane 17 goals this season - 1 in the league.
In Grealish's case it's very hard for him to look anything like a 100m player without a goalscorer to feed. City's top league scorers are Foden and Bernardo with 3 each. It would be hard for any non-striker costing 100m to come into this City team and look like value for money. If they'd signed Foden or de Bruyne for 100m this summer they'd look like flops too. Grealish is very overrated tho, and is totally unproven at the very top level. Mad to pay 100m for a player like that. The general consensus on here is that City dodged a bullet with Kane. His record against top teams is poor. They need a proper proven finisher. Doesn't have to cost 100m+ and they could still go for one in Jan and be fine for a PL and CL challenge. |

dodged a bullet, dont see that in any way, wouldve been devastatingly effective for mine-all day long

Kane is still for sale --

Kane 7 goals in 2 games against pub teams inc 2 penalties, doesn't make him a world class striker imo, has been cr@p for Spurs this season and what did Newcastle win with Shearer as a big target man?
Man City haven't replaced the Premier leagues best ever striker in Aguerro, they didn't need Grealish already having De Bryne, Sterling, Foden, Silva and Mahrez plus the talented youngsters coming through. |

think the whole bizz mightve wrecked arrys swede for a bit, maybe a long bit
|

Who's going to stop man city winning the league? Liverpool don't have the squad depth and man u are led by Mr Magoo. That leaves only Chelsea imo.
Scoring goals against 3rd rate opposition isn't a compelling argument. Much better options elsewhere like Haaland and Mbappe(not sure if man city can sign psg players and vica versa) |

city be lucky to get 3rd

Let’s see when he plays against a Top10 country,not Bottom10.
Get real. |

only scored against france and germany in internationals of the bigger teams 4 in total and 3 of those in friendlies

City already far and away the best team. They don't need Kane whatsoever.

Didn't Chelsea get beat at home by Man City? Didn't Liverpool get beat by West Ham? |
|
By:
Shearer, Henry and Salah better than Aguero for me. Possibly a couple of others too. Henry best of the lot.

Man City will ruin Grealish. Pep has put the shackles on him. He needs to float about doing his own thing. Who can forget the day he destroyed Liverpool with two goals and three assists ?
