Sad Dear me, how bad a standard is this? Dreadful at best. The  Northern Counties East League Division 1 is a higher standard of football. One stand with some people in it, and this a top womens FA Cup match.

This is where our licence fee is being wasted by the beeb.

Not to worry though as womens Rugby is on beeb two shortly. Crazy

Imagine how poor men's football would
be if we had been banned from
playing for years.

Standard is poor, but they are
playing catch up. It's free on tv.

Interesting to see what sort of level
it's at in 15 years or so, when
girls have grown up being able
to play, and encouraged by role
models.

My sister has never kicked a football!

arsenal v brighton on bbc1 another predictable result with arsenal cruising
in the last few days we have had the big leagues man city liverpool juventus barcelona and many many more all longs odds on and not winning
at least with the womens game most results go to plan more punter friendly

Need licence fee anyway for
other stuff, so it's free as far
as I see it, but point taken,

You don't have to watch it,
I saw some of city Chelsea at dad's house.

I didn't watch other game, nor
the ladies rugby.

There are lots of girls who
love to see women play football
and not just men playing.

They can see difference in standard too.

Emms Hayes once again spoke
ever so well after the game.

Would that mens managers spoke
with same knowledge and honesty.

When have women been banned from playing for years? I think you're thinking of womens football in the country of your clubs new owners not the uk

It's not about the quality. It's about promoting the sport to women primarily and all the usual woke stuff. The quality is terrible because if you have a top quality athlete daughter, you will push her into tennis or athletics where the money is. Eventually they will become footballers but it will take 15+ years.

Most of the players now are fairly poor athletes. Women are capable of being top quality athletes but the really top quality ones don't go to football. Football has almost reached saturation point in terms of how traditional fans have been milked. This will create a totally new fanbase in the UK and globally for them to milk even more.

Ever seen a journalist or media outlet produce an article or feature on WSL attendances? Thought not. And here's the reason why:-

Combined WSL attendances for the 6 matches w/e 2/3rd Oct        12,085
                                                                               w/e 9/10 Oct          11,751

These were actually 2 of the combined highest combined weekly WSL attendance figures of the season. Stockport County in the (men's) National League have an average attendance which is more than half the combined weekly attendance of the entire WSL. The BBC, Sky and the rest of the media never mention WSL attendances. And now you know why.
