Hi all, Betfair seems to undergo investigation on this game played on 24.10.2021. Has anyone else here have their winnings from the game blocked by Betfair?
Already 3 days passed without real resolution.

Almost a week already and no decision about the investigated game. Punters' funds and balances blocked in full without their consent. Aren't we living in a regulated world?

what is the issue? suspicion of match fixing?

We don't know, they do not even provide a reason. But you can imagine how many normal punters are affected with matched total amount around 300k Eur per market. All these users balances blocked rigght now without a sign of announcement by Betfair.

Was anybody here provided with any reason by Betfair? What are they investigating and how long it will take?

get onto them on twitter about it. Did they turn the market in-play, ie with a delay?

I wish it was their last match vs Nautico being investigated as I lost money on that

i watched that

late winner

had a goal disallowed (their third) after a long VAR check

took me a while to figure out what was going on and realise it was still 2-1

there was another long pause where i couldn;t figure out what was going on, eventually realsied the bal had struck the ref and she wanted a drop ball i think

nautico maanger was going mad on the touchline

also saw him standing in the technical area talking on his phone at one point, not seen that before

to be fair i've only seen a female official make one bad error, in chilean game without VAR, goal was offside

Investigation on the Vitoria- Pelotas still ongoing for 7 days now without a sign from Betfair. People's money being blocked, whole banks being blocked right now. IBAS, FOS and the UK gambling authority would love to hear this story very soon. I guess another big fine is coming for Betfair for this unregulated practice.

Pelotas - Avai played tonight. Overs and Ht markets are steaming again.
Maybe Betfair should block it as well even before the game starts to avoid more legitimate users to get affected ...

Disgrace they are taking so long to settle it. OJ Simpson trial didn`t last as long.

Disgrace is exactly the word that describes their actions now. 300k were matched per market, imagine how many legitimate users got victimized. Are we living in 15th century?

If they suspect match fixing there are 10s of fixed games per week, if they suspect funds passing, the market was a big one 300k, funds passing happens rather in not liquid markets. Betfair's actions out of logic AGAIN.
