hi all ive done some working out and england if they win group play runners up of the hardest group of germany portugal hungary and france , personally i cant see us beating any of them , but good luck england we will need it
Having seen our 2 friendly games recently and 2 or 3 other games played this week, I think we'll struggle to get out of our group, Croatia, could well beat us again and the Scotland game will be their Cup Final, so not expecting us to beat them either, while the Czech Republic will be no easy game either. I know we put out our b team in those friendlies, but the signs really aren't good. Spain, Portugal and Germany look very strong and would be far too good for us and thats before we even get to Belguim, Italy and whoever the surprise sides might be. but not expecting England to be one of those.

the hypes already started if england are joint favorites. seen far better england teams over the years, this one has loads of individual quality to give the czechs and scotland a good beating, but come up short against quality opposition over the past few years. might be better coming second in the group and avoiding france/germany/portugal, and get a run into the semis

Tell you what, I'm no anorak and wouldn't be looking to analyze [ANY] team but, I hadn't realised the strength of Portugal's 1st eleven. I know Ronaldo's knocking on now but all same ....... Was looking at the line-up last night when they played Israel. That group, F, it's one helluva group, fascinating. We shall see eh?

I said exactly the same on another thread. Their team is almost like an all star eleven! Not one position where they don't have a really good player. Shame in a way that one of those three teams in group F won't go through as for me they should be three of the final four.

TARTAN B, either Germany or France are going to lose their opening game. And then the loser is going have to play Portugal at some point. If I [HAD] to pick one for an early exit I go for Germany. Interesting, I think.

Of course France and German could DRAW their opening game?
I think it's very tight, you could make a claim for any of the three not making it through. I watched Germany the other night too, it was only Latvia I know but they won 7-1 with seven different scorers!

Yes I think the Germans brought two Subs on, Werner and Sane and they both scored!
Such a shame those three are in the same group when other groups are very one sided. Surely England for instance must be top two as paired with two poor teams.
Same happened at World Cup, England beat a bunch of second raters and next thing you know they're in the Semi Final! Whereas Round of 16
FRANCE V ARGENTINA URUGUAY V PORTUGAL
Then Quarter Finals
URUGUAY V FRANCE BRAZIL V BELGIUM
Shame it works out like that I'd like to see the best teams in the final 4 at least and ideally the final 8.

I agree 100% with the guy who started this thread, Players from France, Germany and Portugal like Ronaldo, will be licking their lips at the thought of running at Maguire and Mings. Them pair 'll get fount out again.
